Hi, I’m Jamie (she/her)
Usually the About page is all about how I’m the perfect designer for you. We’ll get to that, but I’m going to start off with a bit about me first.
I’M AN INTROVERTED, KINDA CRUNCHY, KINDA NOT, TODDLER MOM x 2, BLACK COFFEE ENTHUSIAST, & PASSIONATE ADVOCATE OF SUPPORTING NEW PARENTS.
I live in St.Paul, Minnesota with my family in our 100 year old fixer-upper home. If you follow me on Instagram Stories you’ll see just as much home DIY as you will branding and websites.
I’m qualified, I promise.
I graduated with a degree in basically the opposite of design. And I spent the better part of a decade working in healthcare in a variety of roles. I’ve always had a desire to help people, but I started to feel a bit disillusioned by some of the practices. I’ve also always had a creative itch (I took A LOT of art classes). After having my first baby, my identity transformed and knew I wanted to do something different. And I began my never ending saga of trainings, classes & late-night Google searches.
In 2020, I was new mom working 50-60 hour work weeks directly supporting a team of 65 staff on the frontlines of the pandemic in a large metro hospital. Burnout was inevitable and I knew I couldn’t sustain. I loved my patients and my team, but my heart wasn’t there.
I finally launched a web design business in July 2020 and the rest is history!
So…why do you need me?
You have a burning desire to support people and make a lasting impact and also make a living doing it. But…you don’t know where to start.
Maybe you made a website and an Instagram account, but you don’t really like it and something just doesn’t feel right. Maybe you’re lost on what to write, where to find pictures, how to put it all together and it just feels overwhelming.
You hear things like SEO, email marketing, content strategy and your eyes start to gloss over.
You kinda know who your target audience is, but you can’t seem to get their attention. And you’re definitely not booking as many clients as you’d like.
So, you’re stuck.
This is where I come in. I promise I can help you get clarity on who you’re meant to work with and get you in front of their eyes. I can also give you the confidence to actually show off your branding & website while also making sure that it’s set up right.
And by “right” I mean using strategy, research, and my SEO knowledge.
When you work with me, you get someone who really listens, digs deep, and takes the mess of ideas in your head and translates them into a visual identity. I work with you to make the unseen heart and soul of your business seen.
