Marissa Peterson Birth

Marissa is a doula, childbirth educator and future midwife. She approached me needing a new brand and website with the goal to grow her business.

Marissa's brand is a blend of darkness, nurturing warmth, light, and just a touch of magic. The color palette is cool and dark with the blue shades, but balanced with touch of warmth from the brownish-gray hues. The logo simple, friendly, and slightly quirky. Marissa has an affinity to mushrooms so the inclusion of that is a personal touch. Mushrooms are innately magical just like birth. The pair represents the mother and baby dyad. The elements of the logo are imperfect which reinforces Marissa's approachability and warmth
