Round Rock Birth & Beyond

Jenna is a full spectrum doula in St.Paul, Minnesota who wanted a beautiful brand and website to attract clients with ease that also represented her solid, yet calm approach to supporting birthing people.

The direction for Round Rock Birth & Beyond is calming, nurturing, yet strong. The color palette is cool and moody. The Round Rock logo features an uppercase, modern and clean sans serif font. The uppercase font feels more formal and elegant. There are soft and feminine details with the extended R and U letters wrapping the O much like hands holding a pregnant belly. There is a small circle element in the lower half of the O representing a belly button. These small details are a subtle nod to pregnancy while remaining sophisticated. A lower case sans serif font balances the uppercase font giving the logo a more casual, approachable feel. The visual cues that make up the rest of the brand will be faintly feminine, yet imperfect hand drawn floral and botanical pattern and elements.

The floral and botanical elements of this brand feel natural and have symbolic ties to new life, growth, resilience and fertility. The design is imperfect and simple which feels inviting, unique and reinforces the approachability and nurturing values of the brand.
