Sage Tones Photography

Malikah is the owner of Sage Tones, a newly launched Minnesota family photography business. She has been taking pictures since she was very young, but has ultimately been drawn to photographing families and children. She loves seeing the unique personalities in each family that she captures and the intimacy and connection in each family dynamic. Sage Tones mission is to help families focus and treasure the mundane, simple moments of right now because time passes quickly.

The direction for Sage Tones is minimal and earthy, yet luxurious. The brand also feels warm and comfortable just like you'd feel with loved ones. The color palette is natural and calming with light neutrals, cool greens, and warm browns.

The logo features a hand drawn "Baby's Breath" flower. This particular flower happens to be one of Malikah's favorites, but it also has deeper symbolism to everlasting love and innocence which fits so beautifully with family photography. The hand drawn flower and fonts offer a delicate and feminine touch to this minimalist branding. The primary logo uses lowercase letters which feels slightly more casual and relaxed than uppercase letters.
